YULEE, Fla. — Have some old electronics you need to get rid of?
Keep Nassau Beautiful and Nassau County Solid Waste will host a free Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Event on Saturday, Oct. 17, in Yulee.
The drive gives Nassau County residents a safe way to dispose of household items that can’t go in standard landfills.

The event will run from 8 a.m. to noon, or until collection trucks reach capacity. It will be located at 86200 Gene Lasserre Boulevard. Proof of residency is required to participate.
You can drop off electronics, aerosols, herbicides, pesticides, fluorescent light bulbs, paint, paint thinners and oil filters.
Commercial loads will not be accepted at the site. Small businesses looking to dispose of materials may call 352-334-0440 ahead of time for pricing details.
Attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to donate to the Barnabas Food Pantry.
