Original Story:
Frontier Airlines pilots are in Jacksonville Wednesday as part of a nationwide tour to alert the public of a possible strike, according to the Air Line Pilots Association International, known as APLA.
ALPA said in a press release that Frontier pilots are driving a large RV to bring awareness to their cause.
According the press release, the Frontier Airlines pilot group has asked for permission to strike from the federal government because the pilots have not received pay raises and their contract negotiations have been stalled for nearly three years.

The press release states: "Frontier is the fastest-growing carrier at Jacksonville International Airport, flying to 12 destinations from JAX, including 6 new cities added just last month. If a strike took place, all Frontier service would cease at JAX and every other city the airline serves."
The Denver Post reported in July this quote sent to them in an email from Frontier spokesman Richard Oliver, "We continue to be actively engaged in negotiations with our pilots for a new contract and have exchanged several proposals under the guidance of the National Mediation Board.
"We look forward to working toward an agreement that is fair, sustainable, and provides security for our collective future. Frontier is disappointed that ALPA is resorting to publicity stunts rather than focusing its energy on negotiations.”
