As Mayor Lenny Curry will move ahead with plans to implement Cure Violence in Jacksonville moms hit the streets to spread awareness of gun violence.

Three mothers, all who lost loved ones to gun violence, took the streets to call for change.

They marched along Ken Knight Dr., where 27-year old Ronald Jenkins was killed earlier in the week.

“They really want the community to stop all this, because they don’t like it themselves,” said Gale Williams, one of the mothers.

Jenkins’ murder is still unsolved.
