“Looking at even the beaches managing to get in to the mid-90’s before the sea breeze kicks in enough to drop that temperature a little bit”, Buresh said.
Thunderstorms are expected to be widely scattered but locally heavy, like Tuesday.
The heat continues to be the story as we head into the 4th of July holiday.
Showers and storms will form between 1 and 3pm.
Highs will reach the upper 90’s Thursday with widely scattered inland afternoon storms.
Feels-like temps will remain oppressive at 103-107 tomorrow afternoon.
Storms begin to increase by the weekend and temps stay above average, which is 91 degrees.
