Multiple St. Johns County deputies were at a home in St. Augustine on Pellicer Road Thursday morning after a man barricaded himself inside.
The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said a the standoff situation began following a domestic dispute between two men inside the home.
Allegedly the altercation continued outside the home where shots were fired, SJSO said. One man ran from the home while the other barricaded himself inside.
Police say the man surrendered peacefully.
Several children and adults were barricaded inside the home with the man and surrounding neighbors were evacuated.
No injuries were reported.
