BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. — Search crews looking for missing woman Emily Dennis discovered human remains Tuesday morning in a wooded area, the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office said.
BCSO said it initiated the ground search around 7:30 a.m. along County Road 18 in Graham as part of a weeks-long effort to find Dennis.

The operation included Union County deputies, the BCSO Drone Unit, and three certified cadaver K-9 units.
Around 10:55 a.m., K-9 Salty and handler Victoria Miller, operating as a citizen volunteer team, picked up a scent along the south side of the road, BCSO said. Authorities said searchers located the human remains a short time later.

Investigators reported no immediate indications of foul play at the scene. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement was called to assist deputies with processing the site and recovering the remains.
The medical examiner is assisting with the investigation to determine the cause of death and establish official identification, BCSO said.
