Five-year-old Cody has severe hemophilia, a disorder where his blood doesn’t clot properly.
He’s one of many kids at Wolfson Children’s Hospital getting treatment.
On Tuesday, he got to meet a handful of Jacksonville Jaguars players.
“I got his shirt,” Cody said.
Patrick Omameh, Bronson Hill and other Jags players volunteered their time, along with the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund, to come see kids like Cody.

“It’s a rewarding experience, and any time I have the opportunity that I can do it, then I try to do it,” Omameh said.
“It was good to meet him and see him with a lot of energy. His mom said he's not like that as often, so it was fun to see he was happy,” Hill said.
His smile was just as contagious as his laugh.
“They make me appreciate what I have,” Hill said.
Cody’s mom Marlene said she appreciated the players coming and spending time with her son and others who are going through difficult times.
“I think it's awesome that they have a heart like that to come talk to these kids and make them smile,” Marlene said.
