JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Public Library announced that six locations will be closing in August for air conditioner repairs.

Depending on the extent of the repairs, the branches are expected to be closed 3 to 7 days.
Book drops will be closed at the libraries while the repairs take place, but customers can return books and materials to any Jacksonville Public Library location.
The following library branches will be closed in August:
- South Mandarin Branch Library at 12125 San Jose Blvd. from Aug. 5 through 8. Holds will be extended for one week.
- Brown Eastside Branch Library at 1390 Harrison St. from Aug. 5 through 9. Holds will be extended for one week.
- Dallas Graham Branch Library at 2304 Myrtle Ave. N. from Aug. 5 through 13. Holds can be picked up at the Bradham and Brooks Branch Library at 1755 Edgewood Ave. W.
- Highlands Regional Library at 1826 Dunn Ave. will be closed Aug. 12 through 15. Holds will be extended for one week.
- Westbrook Branch Library at 2809 Commonwealth Ave. will be closed Aug. 19 through 21. Holds will be extended for one week.
- Bill Brinton Murray Hill Branch Library at 918 Edgewood Ave. S. will be closed Aug. 19 through 24. Holds can be picked up at Willowbranch Branch Library at 2875 Park St.
Reopening dates are subject to change, depending on the extent of the repairs needed.
The Jacksonville Public Library's online resources will still be available during the closures.
