JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A pharmacy technician's license was revoked by the Board of Pharmacy after an investigation revealed she was caught stealing thousands of pain medications from a Walgreens Pharmacy where she once worked.
According to a disciplinary report, Cortney Boger worked for the Walgreens Pharmacy on Norwood Avenue, where police said she admitting to stealing pain medication and selling it.
The complaint said a pharmacy manager noticed missing bottles of hydrocodone and installed surveillance cameras last year.
The manager also observed that Boger stopped complaining about back pain and claimed that her financial situation "greatly improved."
In June 2014, the report said the manager saw footage of Boger stealing the pain medications.

Action News Jax tried talking to Boger on Wednesday.
"I've already spoken with who I needed to speak to," Boger said. "It's already been settled at this point."
According to the complaint, Boger admitted to stealing around 4,600 pills and selling many of them for $2 to $3 each.
When asked about what she did with the pills, Boger said: "No, I don't want to talk about that."
Some Walgreens pharmacy customers said they're glad Boger's actions were discovered by the manager.
"There's somebody who really needs those pain pills and because of that behavior they're going to have a hard time getting their meds," customer Fatima Johnson said.
Boger agreed to pay back Walgreens for the pills, according to the report, but she did not answer Action News Jax when asked if she has paid in full.
Boger was charged with trafficking a controlled substance and obtaining a controlled substance by fraud in connection with the case.
The revocation of her license was finalized Sept. 4.
