A Duval County student arrived on the first day of school with Jacksonville police officers by his side.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office escorted the son of fallen officer Mark Larson.
Larson died in the line of duty in 2014, according to JSO. In Larson's honor, officers escorted his son, Christian, to school.
JSO said in a tweet Monday, " He is missing his dad. We are a family, forever."
