The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a death at the Day's Inn on Dix Ellis Trail.
JSO said a man was found shot in the Days Inn parking lot and was dead when they arrived on the scene.
JSO also said it's still early on in the investigation and will release more information as they learn it.
