The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating an apparent homemade meth lab the 6400 block of Sierra Drive in the McGirts Creek area.
Police were called to the area to respond to a domestic dispute between a mother and a teenage son.
While at the home, the mother told police her son was possibly using drugs and officers found homemade meth lab components on and near the kitchen stove.
The home was evacuated, but no other evacuations in the area were required.
The teen is in police custody and is being questioned. Bomb squad detectives are responding to the area to verify if the materials found are indeed related to meth making.
