JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect who stabbed a man Sunday afternoon in the 13900 block of Ascot Drive, which is in the Portside Mobile Home Park near Beach and Hodges boulevards.
JSO Lt. Mike Beckham said the incident started out as an argument, possibly over a boyfriend, between two women. Two men, who are around 19 years old, intervened in the argument and one man stabbed another. It is not certain what type of weapon was used.
The victim was taken to UF Health Jacksonville with one stab wound to his upper body and was in stable condition, Beckham said.
