JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville siblings Braxton and Bri’ya Williams returned home Thursday afternoon after being checked out at UF Health Jacksonville.

The two were found safe two days after they disappeared from their yard, causing an Amber Alert and extensive search by authorities. They were found in the woods on Tuesday by Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department rescue personnel.

The family got back to their home in Paradise Village around 4 p.m. Thursday. Braxton and Bri’ya were all smiles as they carried new gifts inside.

Action News Jax reporter Elizabeth Pace was there as the kids got home with a handful of gifts.

“Just being able to walk through our door again and all be together once again,” their dad, Bryan Williams, said.

Neighbors dropped off gifts for the children. Others provided food for the family. Williams said they are overwhelmed but grateful for the support.

“Me and mom never gave up, family members, all of us, we never gave up because we just knew there was hope,” Williams said. “I knew they were out there and it will all be good.”
