The Jacksonville zoo said it and its animals are fine after Hurricane Matthew.
The zoo said on Facebook that all the animals are fine and there was only minor damage to the park after the storm.
It will be closed on Saturday as crews begin clean up.
The Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department helped the zoo get ready for the storm on Wednesday.
Key zoo staff members stayed behind at the zoo during the storm to care for the animals.
The roughly 2,300 animals at the zoo sheltered in place during the storm.
