JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars have launched the Heart of DUUUVAL Award, presented by Ticketmaster, to identify and honor the team’s top fan. The initiative replaces the previous NFL Fan of the Year competition.
Starting this year, all 32 NFL clubs are hosting their own customized fan nomination programs rather than participating in a single league-wide contest format.
The Jaguars created the Heart of DUUUVAL Award to spotlight one fan based on fandom, community spirit and a lasting legacy story.
To be eligible for the award, nominees must be at least 18 years old and reside in Florida or Georgia. Fans can nominate themselves, others, or review contest details online, HERE.
All nominations close on Friday, Oct. 16.
The inaugural winner will receive a custom Jaguars jacket and two tickets to the Jacksonville game against the Indianapolis Colts. The prize package also includes two tickets to Super Bowl LXI in greater Los Angeles, along with round-trip airfare for the winner and a guest and a three-night hotel stay.
The Jaguars will publicly recognize the Heart of DUUUVAL Award winner on the field at EverBank Stadium during the game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Nov. 1.
