JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks took a teenage cancer patient to prom.

Marks surprised 18-year old Khameyea Jennings at Wolfson Children’s Hospital last week.

Marks, with a vase full of red roses in hand, asked Jennings to go to prom with him.

Marks and Jennings arrived at prom Saturday night dressed in white and gold.

Jennings said yes and they discussed what color they want to wear (white) and how Marks should wear his hair (down).

“All I want to do is make sure she continues to smile and make sure she has a good time tonight,” Marks said.

Marks pushed Jennings in a wheelchair into the dance while classmates cheered.
