JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — You've seen Oprah Winfrey do it, Will Smith do it. Even former president George W.Bush. Dozens of Jacksonville firefighters are taking the ALS ice bucket challenge to honor one of their own.

Firefighters challenged one another to do the challenge in honor of Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department medical director Bob Kiely, who’s been diagnosed with ALS.

They are now challenging other area fire departments to follow their lead. All of the money raised will go to supporting the ALS through the MDA.
