JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — NASA needs help improving satellite data.
The agency is asking people to take pictures of clouds.

Starting now through October 15, people can join the PACE Clouds Challenge. Here’s how it works:
- Take cloud photos as the PACE satellite passes overhead to help NASA understand cloud detection.
- Submit the photos using the “Globe Observer” app.
