JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office on Monday afternoon was investigating after a man's body was found in a ditch at 118th Street and Jammes Road.
A passerby found a man in his mid-50s face down in a ditch with his bike, a beach cruiser, on top of him, according to JSO.
Police believe he lost control of his bike for some reason and are looking into the man's medical conditions.
No one witnessed what happened and no foul play is suspected at this time, JSO said.
Police have identified the man, but have not yet released his identity.
