The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating an attempted bank robbery at the TD Bank at 4520 San Juan Ave. at around 9:40 a.m.

The Sheriff's Office said a woman entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money.

The Sheriff's Office said no weapons were seen during the robbery, and that when a response wasn’t received quickly enough, the woman left the bank walking westbound on San Juan Avenue.

The Sheriff's Office said no one was hurt during the attempted robbery.

The Sheriff's Office described the suspect as a woman between the ages of 30 and 35, around 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing between 150 and 200 pounds.

The Sheriff's Office said she had black hair and was wearing a black sweater, black pants and sunglasses.

The woman did not get away with any money, according to the Sheriff's Office, and the tellers told police that she walked in like a regular patron with no mask or anything; however, none of the tellers recognized her.
