JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office on its X feed said it recently arrested a 19-year-old man they charged with drugs, weapons and other violations.
A recent investigation led to the seizure of more than five pounds of marijuana plus two firearms police said was in the possession of Jeremiya Capers, 19.
Police said they began in June monitoring a suspect known for selling marijuana, discovering the suspect had received multiple pounds of marijuana to sell.
That suspect was also in possession of multiple firearms, including one that had been stolen, police allege in the social media post.
Police said they conducted a traffic stop and arrested Capers, after finding multiple bags of marijuana in the car. A search warrant for Capers’ home revealed two firearms (a rifle and a Glock), 5.12 pounds of marijuana, 134.9 grams of Mushrooms, $1,150 in cash, and a money counter.
