JSO: Two people shot in Magnolia Gardens

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has reported that two people were shot in the Magnolia Gardens neighborhood on Sat., March 16.

According to JSO officials, the incident took place around 6:00 a.m. in the 2800 block of Lippia Rd.

Upon their arrival at the scene, officers discovered a woman who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries, which were described as non-life-threatening.

Additionally, before the arrival of law enforcement, a second victim had already self-transported to a nearby hospital. This individual had suffered a single gunshot wound, also reported as non-life-threatening.

At the scene, officers successfully detained a subject, though further details regarding the individual were not immediately disclosed.

Fortunately, no additional harm to the community was reported in connection with the incident.
