Jacksonville, Fla. — A serial robbery suspect now off our local streets.

Within a span of 48 hours, investigators say Lawrence Albertie committed four robberies at three different businesses.

According to JSO, the robberies happened between March 11 and 12.

He’s been linked to the robberies at Circle K on South McDuff Avenue, the Hardee’s on Norwood Avenue and the Waffle House on New Kings Road, twice.

Police reports show the following:

  • Albertie went to the Waffle House the first time around 4:58 a.m. on March 11 and robbed the business.
  • On March 12, Albertie went back to the same waffle house at 12:30 a.m., approached the register and robbed the business again.
  • Then at 6:45 a.m. the same day, JSO says Albertie robbed the Circle K, leaving after he received the money.
  • Almost an hour later around 7:40 a.m., Albertie is accused of robbing the Hardee’s on Norwood Avenue. He went to the front counter to order food before committing the robbery.

Surveillance video at the Waffle House caught his light blue Lexus RX in the parking lot. Action News Jax has requested that video.

Action News Jax looked into Albertie’s criminal history, and 100 records came up. Among the many, there was possession of cocaine, sexual battery and exposure of sexual organs.

One woman who comes to the Waffle House every Wednesday told Action News Jax off camera it was shocking to hear. Action News Jax also contacted Waffle House, who told us they couldn’t provide any information.
