JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two people were shot early Saturday in the 1200 block of Cesery Boulevard, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 1:04 a.m. after reports that two people had been shot, said Sgt. J. Moore of JSO’s Robbery and Violent Crime Unit.
The victims are currently being treated for their injuries, Moore said.
No suspect has been identified. Investigators recovered several shell casings at the scene, and the JSO Crime Scene Unit is processing evidence.
Detectives with the Robbery and Violent Crime Unit are interviewing witnesses, canvassing for surveillance video and following up on leads, Moore said.
Investigators believe the shooting was an isolated incident, and detectives are still working to determine whether the victims and the suspect knew each other.
