Officers are warning people to be safe while playing Pokémon Go after a 21-year-old was stabbed while playing and four people used the app to bait robbery victims.

Jacksonville Sheriff's Office posted a photo of two officers with a Pokémon and a reminder for people to keep their surroundings in mind while playing.
JSO is warning players to be mindful of trespassing laws, city park hours and their surroundings as they try to catch Pokémon at night.
They are also asking parents to monitor their children's activities to keep them safe.

The St. Mary's Police Department also warned players to be safe while playing.
They posted a warning on Facebook about the game and said playing while driving could lead to various violations.
"If you have to trespass to catch a Pokémon, go ahead and let that one go. If you're looking for Charizard or Wartortle, make sure you know what's in front of you before you take that step," the post read.
