JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A woman was treated at a Jacksonville hospital for injuries she received after being shot Thursday evening in Jacksonville’s Grove Park neighborhood. Police were called to the 200 block of Mojave Court at about 7:30 p.m. in reference to an adult female shot.

Officers arrived and investigators determined she was wounded during a domestic dispute, a Jacksonville police news release states. “During the dispute, the suspect displayed a handgun and fired a single shot in the direction of the victim striking her once in the leg,” the news release states. Her injury was non-life threatening, police said.
