ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — A jury recommended the death penalty for Kentrell Johnson.
The same jury convicted him for the first-degree murder and kidnapping of Vincent Binder, a graduate student at Florida State.
Authorities found Binder's body on the side of the road in St. Johns County in April 2010. He had been beaten and stabbed.
