JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Kevin Carraco will be sworn in today to be the next City Council representative of District 4.
District 4 represents Jacksonville’s southside area.
Carrico was elected during a special November election after Scott Wilson left City Council to campaign to be the next Clerk of the Circuit Court. Wilson did not win that election.
Carrico is the Vice President of Operations for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida. Carrico was endorsed by Sheriff Mike Williams, the Jacksonville Fraternal Order of Police, Jacksonville Association of Firefighters, and the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce.
The swearing-in ceremony will happen at 12 p.m. on the front steps of City Hall.
