JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A kitten was rescued not once but twice Thursday morning in Jacksonville.
A woman drove to work, parked and heard a cat meowing. She didn't know a kitten was stuck in the whellwell of her car.
A listener of 1010XL heard about the trapped kitten and drove over to help the driver along with an engineer and MacKenzie Thirkill.
The kitten was freed from the car after about 30 minutes. However, once the kitten was safe, it ran away.
After the rescuers tracked the kitten down, it was once again safe and seems unharmed.
