LAKE CITY, Fla. — A suspected kidnapper, armed with a gun, could be driving around your neighborhood looking to prey on children.

That's why police are scanning the streets of Lake City.

"It's sad that somebody would actually do that," said the girl's cousin.

She said she was forced into a stranger's pickup truck at gunpoint and fondled. The teen told police it happened Wednesday night right in the front yard of her aunt's home on Martin Luther King Street.

A 13-year-old girl is still shaken.

"She had seen a vehicle that struck her as suspicious driving in the neighborhood several times," said Mike Lee with Lake City Police.

Action News caught up with her cousin who didn't want to show her face on camera, but was willing to share the teen's terrifying story.

"After he told her to come and she said no,he pulled the gun out and told her to come here or he was going to shoot her," she said.

She complied. He then allegedly drove her down the street, parked near a hospital and that's when he put his hands on her.

"She said he rubbed her on her leg or like just rubbing on her," said the girl's cousin.

He's described as a 350 pound African American man with a low haircut and clean shaven face.  He had a cross tattoo with writing on his right shoulder.

If you recognize him call police.
