A local man who witnessed a deadly drive-by shooting on Town Center Parkway told Action News Jax he prayed for the victims.
Mark Morozov was at a nearby Gate gas station when he witnessed the shooting that left three dead and one in critical condition.
He said he saw two guys laying outside the Chevy sedan and one person laying inside.
“I kind of pulled over to make sure everything was fine, asked if I could pray for them, and they let me pray from a distance,” Morozov said.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said a vehicle pulled up beside the Chevy sedan, fired and left the scene. Police said there is no suspect description at this time.
Multiple witnesses told Action News Jax they heard at least nine shots fired at the time of the shooting.
"I thought life is short, and we don’t know when we’re gonna go,” Morozov said.
