JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a man involved with a hit-and-run crash that killed a mother.
Police say Brandon Fruscella did not leave info at a crash he was involved in at New Berlin Road on the Northside.
The crash on May 6 killed a pedestrian, Paula Abdullah.

Abdullah’s body was not found until the morning of May 7.
Fruscella went home and told his insurance company that he hit a mailbox.

Investigators matched DNA from his car to the crash.
Fruscella says he was not aware that he hit a person.
