A man shot while at a local motel Wednesday has died, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Police said they were sent to the Kings Inn Motel located at 8016 Arlington Expressway at midnight in reference to a possible shooting. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot in the back of the motel complex.
The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are working to view surveillance video and identify the man.
Authorities do not have any suspect information at this time.
