Columbia County deputies need help in identifying a man who drove an empty bus in a parking lot and pretended to pick up passengers.
The director of the Columbia County School Bus Transportation told authorities that a man entered a school bus at a lot on Dec. 30.
He made several of these stops in the parking lot and then returned the bus back in its parked spot and left the area.
Surveillance video caught the man driving the bus around in three circles in the parking lot. While driving, he would stop, turn on bus lights, open the door and talk as if greeting people who were boarding the bus.
The report said that the man seemed to previously know how to drive the bus.
Anyone with information on the identity of this man is asked to call the Columbia County Sheriff's Office.
