Man pops question at Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp game

A couple is now on the road to matrimony after a Jacksonville man proposed to his girlfriend during a Jumbo Shrimp baseball game Saturday.

With the help of family and ballpark staff, Robert Barron popped the question after his girlfriend, Bri Adams, threw the ceremonial pitch during to kick off the game.

Barron said Adams wasn't expecting the proposal and his children helped plan the proposal with him.

Jacksonville's Jumbo Shrimp were playing the Mobile Bay Bears. Barron and Adams are big fans of baseball and having a proposal at the ballpark was very appropriate.

Barron, a single dad with two kids, said his children are very excited to have Adams as their stepmother.
