McDonald's says they need hundreds to fill jobs in Jacksonville

McDonald’s will hold a day-long hiring event on Wednesday, April 26 at over 100 area restaurants in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.

The company says those interested can apply in person at any restaurant or visit McDonalds.com/careers.

McDonald’s said it was looking for crew members, shift managers, kitchen managers, guest service managers and and people managers. The company also said some of the positions involve assisting customers with kiosk orders.

In 2015, McDonald’s announced they would pay $1 more than hour than what is required by law. However, the new rule only applied to the restaurants that are owned by the corporation. Most McDonald’s are owned by franchisees.
