Missing Colorado woman found safe in Georgia

A Colorado woman whose belongings were found in Columbia County after she was reported missing has been found safe, deputies said.

Sandra Jammaron, 63, flew to Tampa to visit a high school friend on Sept. 8 but never got on her flight home.

On Saturday, deputies said Jammaron was located safe in Georgia.

She also never returned a rented 2016 white Jeep Compass, which deputies believe she abandoned in the Lake City area.

Her husband tracked her iPhone to a location on Interstate 75 at Nash Road in Columbia County, where deputies found her purse with several belongings inside on Friday.

Jammaron suffers from bipolar disorder and is possibly manic and delusional, deputies said.
