MLK Breakfast: Action News Jax is hosting MLK Live the Dream contest for students

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - CBS47/FOX30 Action News Jax is looking for a standout, local high school student to join anchor Tenikka Hughes as a co-emcee of the 31st Annual MLK Breakfast in January 2018.

This is an important event in Jacksonville, as we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his dream for nonviolent social change. An activist, humanitarian and minister, King played an invaluable role in the advancement of civil rights in the United States. He also worked tirelessly to promote social and economic empowerment of all people.

CBS47/FOX30 Action News Jax is looking for dynamic 11th & 12th grade students who are living the dream of Dr. King by actively taking steps to bridge barriers and effect change in their schools and communities.
