The big reveal took place at RS&H headquarters in Deerwood and was made possible thanks to local volunteers.

They said seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces is what makes it all worth it.
Some of this year’s costumes include the train from Polar Express, built with moving wheels, and steam.
And Moana’s boat with lights, music, and Moana’s chicken Heihei. And a butterfly made perfectly for 3-year-old Madison.

“Madison has schizencephaly. It’s a defect of her brain, a cleft in her brain which ended up causing epilepsy and cerebral palsy,” Madison’s mom Sarah Warmijak said.
This was all made possible thanks to the partnership between the nonprofit Center for Independent Living, RS&H, a design firm headquartered in Town Center, and various sponsors.

Madison’s parents say receiving this costume means everything to them and to their daughter.
“Think about how impressive it can be for a kid who might have mobility issues to actually be able to take their costume to a whole other level,” Madison’s dad Andy Warmijak said.
“I feel like Halloween sometimes is difficult with children that are not mobile because you can’t get to every door. There’s normally steps to get to doors and things like that. So this is really exciting this year to have a special costume,” Sarah Warmijak said.
