MOCA announces free admission on final Fridays for Jax Public Library card holders

MOCA Jacksonville is now offering free admission to the museum on the last Friday of each month to Jacksonville Public Library cold holders.

All Jacksonville Library card holders—including residents, educators, students, military and those who hold active non-resident cards—are eligible for this benefit. Card holders just need to show their Jax Public Library card at MOCA museum (downtown on Laura St.) on the final Friday of the month to be admitted for free.

“This is a wonderful gift MOCA is giving to Jacksonville,” said Tim Rogers, Library Director for Jacksonville Public Library. “The visual arts are vital to building literacy. Access to MOCA’s exhibitions including Project Atrium are the perfect complement to the content people access at the Library.”

Visit the Library’s blog for more information or call (904) 255-BOOK (2665) with questions.

This benefit was created as a product of Jacksonville Public Library + MOCA Art & Conversations, a joint project between the two institutions featuring author talks, film screenings and social forums to explore and expand the important topics trending among Jacksonville citizens.

*Jacksonville Public Library customers may show their physical card, key tag or virtual card available through the Library’s mobile app. Duval County Public School students can give their student ID number, which serves as their Library card.
