JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Thirty-five hundred additional tickets have just become available for the playoffs at EverBank Field.
The NFL on Thursday granted the team's petition to remove tarps, opening up the additional seats for the AFC Wild Card game January 6th or 7th.
It is the Jaguars' first home playoff game since the 1999 season.
Presale tickets for existing season ticket holders went on sale Tuesday. More than 40,000 were sold.
The remainder sold out to the general public in only a few hours, according to a statement released by the team.
"The response from Jaguars fans has been nothing short of outstanding," said Chad Johnson, Jaguars Senior Vice President of Sales and Service.
