NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — On Monday, family and friends said goodbye to a mother and daughter who died in a tragic fire.
Paulette, 58, and Valorie Morgan, 16, were killed in a house fire on Jan. 9.

Husband and father Phillip Morgan tried to get into the fiery home to save them, but was not successful.
Neighbor Diana Gilbert said, “They were wonderful people loving caring very outgoing. They would do anything in the world for anybody.”

The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office says the fire was started by a wood burning stove.
