NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — The Nassau County Board of County Commissioners is accepting applications for several boards and committees that help guide county programs, policies, and services.
The available positions are:
Affordable Housing Advisory Committee: Reviews local housing policies and recommends strategies to increase the availability of affordable housing.
Amelia Island Tourist Development Council: (Tourist Industry/Tax-Paying Representative) Advises on the promotion and development of tourism and the use of Tourist Development Tax revenues.
Construction Board of Adjustments and Appeals: (Construction-Related Representatives – 2 vacancies) Hears appeals and considers matters related to the County’s construction codes and regulations.
Planning and Zoning Board (At-Large Representative):Reviews land use, zoning, and development proposals and makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners.
