NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — A Nassau County Fire and Rescue employee has been arrested and charged with intent to view child pornography.
Robert Ginder, 34, was a logistics officer, according to the Nassau County Staff Directory. If convicted, Finder faces a maximum of 20 years in federal prison and a potential life term of supervised release.
According to the federal complaint, investigators gained access to a cloud platform and group chat where users were actively involved in distributing child pornography. Ginder’s IP address was used on the cloud platform and on October 20, agents executed a search warrant at his residence in Callahan. They found two explicit videos and one photo on Ginder’s personal phone.
A hearing has been scheduled for October 23.
We have reached out to the Nassau County’s Fire and Rescue Department, but they have not gotten back.
