The National Weather Service released graphics of the storm survey it performed Tuesday after the tornado that touched down on the Westside on Monday as Tropical Storm Colin was impacting Northeast Florida.
The NWS estimates that the time of the tornado came through the Crystal Springs area was 3:25 p.m. to 3:35 p.m., based on radar imagery.
The peak intensity of the storm was estimated to be 100 miles per hour. The intensity of the storm was caught on surveillance video.
The light blue/aqua portion of the graphics indicate an EF-0 tornado while light green indicates where the tornado was an EF-1. A rear flank down draft, shown in orange on the graphics, "contacted the ground as the tornado was dissipating," the NWS said.
