Jacksonville, FL. — On Sunday, during the Jacksonville Jaguars half time, a special naturalization ceremony will take place welcoming 50 of America’s new citizens from 24 different countries spanning from Afghanistan to Venezuela.
A new version of the test to become a citizen has been release.
Starting December 1, applicants for U.S. citizenship will have to correctly answer at least 12 of 20 questions posed by immigration officials.
Here is a version of that test to see if you could pass.
The current civics test requires immigrants to correctly answer 6 questions out of a total of 10.
We’ll show a sneak peek ahead of what it will be like and introduce people to a local mom officially becoming a citizen.
