JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has released never-before-seen body camera video from the arrest of an accused New York City murder suspect.

On Nov. 9, Claudia Banton, 42, of New York, was captured by the USMS Fugitive Task Force on North Main Street by the Budweiser plant. Authorities said Banton was responsible for the brazen, execution-style murder of Delia Johnson, 42, in Brooklyn on August 4. The shooting was captured by a nearby surveillance camera.

The driver of the Mitsubishi was questioned by police. It is not yet known what charges if any, she faced.

In the new body cam video, multiple JSO officers can be seen with their guns drawn behind a white Mitsubishi sedan.

Banton can be seen exiting the passenger side of the vehicle with her hands raised as police shout commands. One officer orders Banton to walk toward him with her hands in the air. As she approaches, the officer shouts, “Keep your hands up. Don’t do nothing stupid or I will shoot you, do you understand?”
