The Florida Highway Patrol and Clay County Sheriff's Office are investigating a fatal crash that happened just after 8 a.m. Saturday on County Road 207 at Memory Lane.
According to FHP, the crash involves one car with one occupant, Caitlin Magliochett, who was killed at the scene.
According to the report, the car was traveling southbound and for an unknown reason the car swerved into the grass, went back into the roadway and lost control. This caused the car to rotate clockwise off onto the shoulder and travel sideways into a water-filled ditch and struck a concrete culvert. The car came to final rest overturned on its roof facing north in a water-filled ditch.
