One Spark holds first international festival, crowns winning projects

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The first international One Spark crowd funding festival was held in Berlin, Germany.

Six cash awards were given to creator projects out of 50 participating creators.

Creators were from Germany, Poland, Sweden, Chile, Italy, Israel and the U.S.

Participants pitched their best ideas to an audience of people and investors.

Winners received shares of 10,000 euros.

Categories included art, innovation, music, science and technology.

Votes decided who received the cash prize, buy juries decided who got a free trip to One Spark U.S.

Elton Rivas, co-­‐founder and CEO Of One Spark said, “We now have the feedback and validation needed from a market outside of the U.S. to show that One Spark can help creators anywhere in the world launch their projects.”

One Spark U.S. will take place in Downtown Jacksonville from April 7-12, 2015.
